Spirit score 10 unanswered goals en route to 10-3 victory over the 67's

SAGINAW, Mich. - Garret Ross had two goals and two assists as the Saginaw Spirit scored 10 straight goals en route to a 10-3 victory against the visiting Ottawa 67's on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Terry Trafford also scored twice for the Spirit (12-14-3) and Vincent Trocheck, Eric Locke and Nick Moutrey had a goal and two assists apiece.

Jimmy Lodge and Dalton Young each hach had a goal and an assist for Saginaw while Justin Kea added a single goal.

Dante Salituro scored twice for the 67's (7-20-2), who were leading 2-0 five minutes into the first period before giving up 10 consecutive goals, and Brendan Bell scored once.

Nikita Serebryakov made 18 saves for the win while Clint Windsor picked up the loss after allowing seven goals on 37 shots through 45 minutes of action. Jacob Blair stopped 8-of-11 shots in 15 minutes of relief.

Both clubs went 1 for 6 on the power play.
