Brace, Kontos and Smoskowitz combine for nine points as the Steelheads beat the Battalion

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - Riley Brace, Kristoff Kontos and Dylan Smoskowitz each scored a goal and two assists to lead the Mississauga Steelheads to a 5-2 victory over the Brampton Battalion on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Eric Diodati recorded the game winner while Stuart Percy also scored for the Steelheads (17-7-1) to snap Brampton's six-game winning streak.

Zach Bell and Mike Amadio scored for the Battalion (12-9-5).

Spencer Martin finished with 25 saves for the win as Matej Machovsky turned aside 32 shots in a losing cause.

Each team went 0-for-2 on the power play.
