Greenaway four points as the Frontenacs down the Whalers 7-6

PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Darcy Greenaway scored three times and set up one more as the Kingston Frontenacs downed the host Plymouth Whalers 7-6 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Billy Jenkins scored twice for the Frontenacs (13-10-0), Cody Alcock had a goal and an assist and Henri Ikonen scored once.

Alex Aleardi scored twice and added three assists for the Whalers (12-8-4) while Matthew Mistele had three goals.

Michael Whaley added a single goal to round out Plymouth's offence.

Colin Furlong stopped 47-of-53 shots for the win as Matt Mahalak allowed seven goals on 32 shots before getting pulled late in the third period. Alex Nedeljkovic came in for the final five minutes and stopped both shots he faced in relief.

Kingston went 1-for-5 on the power play while Plymouth failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.
