McNaughton scores three times as the Storm down the Steelheads 7-2

GUELPH, Ont. - Cody McNaughton scored three times as the Guelph Storm crushed the visiting Mississauga Steelheads 7-2 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Robby Fabbri and Justin Auger both had a goal and two assists for the Storm (13-8-2) while Zack Mitchell and Tanner Richard each chipped in with three assists.

Brock Beukeboom and Chadd Bauman scored a goal apiece to round out Guelph's offence.

Brett Foy and Dylan DeMelo scored for the Steelheads (14-6-1).

Garret Sparks stopped 27 shots for the win while Spencer Martin allowed four goals against on 17 shots in 21 minutes of action to pick up the loss.

Tyson Teichmann stopped 12-of-15 shots in 38 minutes of relief for the Steelheads.

Guelph went 1-for-9 on the power play while Mississauga went 1-for-6.
