The 20-year-old winger now has seven goals and 22 points in 17 games, which is good for third in team scoring.
St. Croix now has 12 goals and 29 points in 21 games, which leads his club.
Tanner Lishchynsky and Jarrett Fontaine scored for the Cougars (7-10-2), who have dropped four games straight.
Tristan Jarry made 21 saves for the win while Mac Engel stopped 30 shots in a losing cause.
Edmonton went 0 for 1 on the power play while Prince George failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.
The Oil Kings beat the Cougars 4-2 on Friday as well.

Musil responded for the Oil Kings at 13:21, but Fontaine scored with 35 seconds left in the period to make it 2-1 Prince George after 20 minutes of play.
Wruck and Lowe scored back-to-back in the second period to give Edmonton a 3-2 lead heading into the final period.
Wruck added an empty-net goal with 18 seconds remaining to secure the victory.
