Ross scores winner as the Spirit down the Bulls 4-3

BELLEVILLE, Ont. - Garret Ross scored the winner in overtime and added two assists for the Saginaw Spirit as they downed the host Belleville Bulls 4-3 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Vincent Trocheck, Brandon Lindberg and Justin Kea also scored for the Spirit (8-10-2).

Niki Petti scored twice for the Bulls (9-6-3) and Aaron Berisha had the other.

Jake Patterson finished with 33 saves for the win as Malcolm Subban stopped 38 shots in a losing cause.

Both clubs failed to score with the power play, each going 0-for-1.
