Fiddler with three points as the Chiefs beat the Blazers 5-2

SPOKANE, Wash. - Todd Fiddler scored once and set up two more as the Spokane Chiefs beat the visiting Kamloops Blazers 5-2 on Friday in Western Hockey League play.

Mitch Holmberg and Dylan Walchuk each had a goal and an assist for the Chiefs (14-6-0) as Cole Wedman and Riley Whittingham scored a goal apiece.

JC Lipon and Jordan DePape scored for the Blazers (17-3-1) while Brendan Ranford picked up an assist on each.

Eric Williams made 32 saves for the win as Cole Cheveldave turned away 18 shots in a losing cause.

Spokane went 0-for-4 on the power play while Kamloops went 1-for-4.
