PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Stefan Noesen scored twice and set up two more as the Plymouth Whalers downed the visiting Windsor Spitfires 5-3 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.
Garret Meurs had a goal and two assists for the Whalers (10-5-3) as Michael Whaley and Connor Carrick each scored once.
Chris Marchese had a goal and two assists for the Spitfires (8-8-4), who have dropped three straight games, and Kerby Rychel and Michael Clarke scored the others.
Matt Mahalak made 34 saves for the win as Jaroslav Pavelka stopped 46-of-51 shots in a a losing cause.
Plymouth went 3-for-9 on the power play while Windsor went 3-for-10.
