• The second overall selection in the 2015 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft collected 3-23—26 in 69 contests in 2015-16 to lead Saskatoon Blades rookies in assists and points.

• Before moving to North America, Hajek won a bronze medal with HC Kometa Brno of the Czech Extraliga in 2014-15, splitting the season between the club’s professional and juniors teams. He also captured gold and silver medals with the organization in 2012-13 and 2013-14, respectively.

• Hajek made the decision to join the Blades after hearing positive reviews of the organization from Prince Albert Raiders forward and close friend Simon Stransky (No. 48 NA Skater).
