• In 2014-15, Senyshyn finished second among Ontario Hockey League rookies in goals (26) and points (45) before being named to the League’s Second All-Rookie Team. He also posted a plus-30 rating to help the Greyhounds capture the Hamilton Spectator Trophy as top team in the regular season for the first time in 30 years. He added seven points (4-3—7) in 14 playoff games.

• Playing with the Smiths Falls Bears in 2013-14, Senyshyn led all 16-year-olds in the Central Canada Hockey League with 22 goals in 57 games. Only Stefano Momesso – son of former NHL forward Sergio Momesso – had more goals among Bears players.

• Senyshyn, who is very close with his family, grew up hearing stories from his grandfather about Hockey Hall of Famer Maurice Richard. He wears No. 9 in honor of “The Rocket.”

• Representing the Ottawa District Hockey Association, Senyshyn tallied five points (3-2—5), including a goal in the championship game, to help his team capture the 2013 OHL Gold Cup – an under-16 development tournament in Ontario.

• His father, Paul, is a former quarterback for the Queen’s University Golden Gaels football team.
