• In 2010-11, his rookie season with the Tigers, he posted a 3.54 goals against average and a .884 save percentage. During the 2011 playoffs, he averaged over 40 shots per game, improving his save percentage to 0.919 and goals against average to 3.28 -- Victoriaville lost to the eventual Memorial Cup Champions, Saint John, in the second round.
• Honzik played for the Czech Republic at the 2010 Under-17 World Hockey Challenge and was selected to participate in the 2011 CHL Top Prospects Game.
• He has been selected to try out for the Czech Republic’s 2012 World Junior Championship team.
