• In 2014-15, Zboril compiled 33 points (13-20—33) in 44 games for the Sea Dogs to finish third in scoring among rookie defensemen in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. He added three points (1-2—3) in five playoffs games.

• His 13 goals were the most by a rookie defenseman in one season in franchise history, shattering the previous mark of five set in 2005-06 by Sebastien Rioux.

• Zboril earned a spot on the QMJHL Rookie All-Star Team and was one of three finalists for the Michael Bossy Trophy as the League’s best professional prospect.

• A product of the HC Kometa Brno system in his native Czech Republic, Zboril collected 21 points (5-16—21) in 36 games for the club’s junior team in 2013-14 before being selected by the Sea Dogs with the fifth overall pick in the 2014 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft.

• Internationally, Zboril has twice represented the Czech Republic at the Ivan Hlinka Memorial, collecting six points (4-2—6) in five games for the silver medal-winning squad in 2015. He also won a silver medal at the 2014 Under-18 World Junior Championship and played alongside his brother, Adam, at the 2013 World Junior A Challenge.
