• Masin finished the 2013-14 season ranked fifth on the team and among the top 10 defensemen in the Czech Republic’s under-20 league with 21 points (2-19—21) in 39 games and his 102 penalty minutes were the most by any player.
• He captained the Czech Republic to a bronze medal at the 2013 Ivan Hlinka Memorial. It was the country’s first top-three finish at the tournament, which they co-host, since 2005.
• He notched three assists and again served as captain as the Czech Republic captured a silver medal at the 2014 Under-18 World Championship. Masin also captained the Czech Republic at the 2013 World Junior A Challenge.
• Masin debuted with the under-20 team as a 16-year-old in 2012-13, tallying a goal and two assists in 25 games after beginning the season with HC Slavia’s under-18 club.
