• In 2012-13, Wennberg played in 46 games for Djurgardens in Sweden’s second division and ranked second among junior players in goals (14), assists (18) as well as third in points (32).

• Wennberg is a two-time silver medalist – he competed for Sweden at the 2013 World Junior Championship (2-1--3) and the 2012 Under-18 World Championship (3-6--9). In 2012, he tied for fourth in tournament scoring.
