• Nicknamed “Delo” he learned to skate at the age of three with his dad on an outdoor rink in Verdun, Quebec and played on his first hockey team the Verdun Cobras. He played his minor hockey for Verdun, LaSalle and Valleyfield.

• He wears number 10 in honor of Guy LaFleur and his childhood hockey hero was Mario Lemieux.
