• Pirri finished third in scoring with 94 points (46-48-94) in 44 games in the Ontario Junior Hockey League in 2008-09 – he played 18 games with Streetsville recording 49 points (21-28-49) before being traded to Georgetown, recording 45 points (25-20-45) in 26 games.

• He helped lead the Georgetown Raiders to the division finals and was selected as the OJHL's best professional prospect. He also led Canada East to a bronze medal at the 2008 World Junior ‘A’ Challenge with seven points in four games.

• In the fall of 2009, he will play for the Engineers of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
