• Already a veteran on the international stage, York helped Team USA capture gold at the 2017 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge (1-4—5 in 6 GP). Additionally, he has medaled twice at the Under-18 World Championship leading all blueliners with six assists to help Team USA earn silver in 2018 and leading all defensemen in goals (4), assists (7) and points (11) in 2019 where he was named a tournament All-Star as part of his country’s bronze medal entry.

• Models his style of play after Blue Jackets defenseman Zach Werenski.
