• Lavoie established career highs in goals, assists and points in 2018-19 after collecting 32-41—73 through 62 regular-season games with the Halifax Mooseheads – the No. 1 seed in the QMJHL’s Eastern Conference. His breakout 2018-19 campaign saw him awarded the Mike Bossy Trophy as the QMJHL’s Best Professional Prospect.

• In the 2019 QMJHL Playoffs, Lavoie led all players in goals and ranked second in points with 20-12—32 in 23 games as the Mooseheads advanced to the QMJHL Championship Series where they fell to the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies in six games. He was the first QMJHL skater to score 20 goals in a single postseason since Adam Erne in 2015 (21 in 22 GP).

• Internationally, Lavoie skated for Canada White at the 2016 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge (1-2—3 in 6 GP) and represented his country at the 2018 Under-18 World Championship (5-0—5 in 5 GP).

• Models his style of play after Ducks forward Ryan Getzlaf.
