• Internationally, Holmstrom was a member of Team Sweden’s gold medal-winning entry at the 2019 Under-18 World Championship where he produced 3-3—6 in seven games.

• His father, Jonas Holmstrom, played professional hockey in Sweden from 1991-92 to 2003-04 and has his No. 20 retired by Tranas AIF.
