• Parsons led all goaltenders in wins (16), goals-against average (2.15) and save percentage (.925) in the 2016 Ontario Hockey League Playoffs to help the Knights win the J. Ross Robertson Cup as postseason champions for the third time in five years. He capped a season-ending 17-game win streak with a 29-save performance in the Memorial Cup championship game before being named the tournament’s top goaltender.

• He ranked second in the League in wins (37) and save percentage (tied; .921) during the 2015-16 regular season. Parsons also posted a 2.33 goals-against average to help the Knights allow the fewest goals in the OHL in 2015-16.

• Parsons signed with London as an undrafted free agent in May 2014 after playing with the Detroit Little Caesars Under-18 team in the High Performance Hockey League.

• He got his start in net as a roller hockey goaltender before switching to the ice around the age 10.

• He practices the motto “Have A Purpose” and wears the acronym “H.A.P.” on his mask and pads in honor of Ian Jenkins, who was killed in a car accident shortly after being drafted by the Knights in 2011.
