• Marner finished second in the Ontario Hockey League scoring race with 126 points (44-82—126) in 63 games, becoming the fastest 17-year-old in London Knights history to score 40 goals in one season (56 GP). He became the 46th player in Knights history to record a 100-point season, joining a group that includes current NHL stars John Tavares (58-45—104 in 2008-09), Patrick Kane (62-83—145 in 2006-07) and Corey Perry (47-83—130 in 2004-05).

• In his rookie season of 2013-14, Marner was named to the OHL Second All-Rookie Team and finished second among first-year players with 59 points (13-46—59) in 64 contests. He then scored at a point-per-game pace in the 2014 playoffs, with 3-6—9 in nine games.

• Internationally, Marner won gold with Team Canada at the 2014 Ivan Hlinka Memorial, including 1-1—2 in the championship game. Overall, he finished the tournament with seven points (2-5—7) in five games.

• In 2012-13, Marner won the Ontario Junior Hockey League championship as a member of the St. Michael’s Buzzers. He lists his championship shirt, hat and ring from that season as his favorite pieces of sports memorabilia.
