• He will attend the University of Denver in the fall of 2011 joining fellow draft prospect Scott Mayfield (No. 24 ranked) and freshman Nick Shore (No. 56 ranked).

• Larraza played in 49 games for the U.S. National Under-18 Team, recording eight goals, including three game-winning goals and five assists in 2010-11. He captured gold with the U.S. at the 2011 Under-18 World Championships, tallying a short-handed goal and five points (1-4--5) in six games.

• Larraza played for PF Chang’s Midget Under-18 team in 2008-09 before joining the U.S. Under-18 National Team Development Program in 2009-10. He got his start in hockey at the age of two and is one of two Jr. Coyotes ranked by Central Scouting (Colten St. Clair - No. 77 ranked).

• He comes from a family of six children -- he has three brothers, Alex, Hayden and Carter and two sisters, Jaysen and Parker.
