Mike Valley
Mike Valley has been the Dallas Stars' goaltending coach since the 2009-10 season.
Valley spent the 2008-09 season as an assistant goaltending coach for the Nashville Predators/Milwaukee Admirals and as a volunteer goaltending coach for the University of Wisconsin, his alma mater.
Valley played six years of professional hockey (1998-2004) after initially being signed as a free agent by the Vancouver Canucks following his sophomore year of college. His career includes stints in the AHL, ECHL and Swedish Elite League. In 2005, he returned to the University of Wisconsin to complete his bachelor's degree in Communication Science and Rhetorical Studies. Valley is originally from Richmond, B.C..

He and his wife, Holly, have two daughters, Madeleine (8), and Emily (6).
