At 16:58 of the third period of the Flyers/Penguins game, the puck shot by the Penguins' James Neal
crossed the goal line and was initially signalled as a goal by the Referee. However, as was directed by the General Managers' at their most recent meeting in March, the officials conferred and determined that it was not a good hockey goal as the Flyers goaltender's left pad was shoved into the net by Neal's stick prior to the puck crossing the goal line. Also, to note, this was a call made on the ice by the officials and this play was not subject to video replay. No goal Pittsburgh.
