Right wing Denis Gurianov, a first-round pick (No. 12) of the Dallas Stars at the 2015 NHL Draft, will come to North American to play for Russia during the Canada National Junior Team Summer Development Camp in Calgary, according to Stars Inside Edge.

Russia, Canada and the Czech Republic will practice together and play exhibition games against each other during the camp, which runs Aug. 1-6. Gurianov will be among 22 players attending the camp that will help establish the roster for Russia at the 2016 IIHF World Junior Championship.

Gurianov, 18, had six goals and seven points in five games to lead Russia at the 2015 Under-18 World Championship and was named one of the top three Russians. He also won a bronze medal with Russia at the 2014 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, scoring three goals and five points in six games.

Gurianov (6-foot-3, 192 pounds), one of 12 forwards on Russia's roster, compares his style to Stars forward Valeri Nichushkin.

Russia plays Czech Republic on Aug. 2 and Aug. 8 and Canada on Aug. 3 and Aug. 5. The 2016 WJC will be held Dec. 26, 2015, through Jan. 5, 2016, in Helsinki, Finland.

Gurianov is expected to play in the KHL this season for Lada Togliatti. He played for their junior team in 2014-15, scoring 15 goals and 25 points in 23 games.
