Former Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Sharp enjoyed a Sunday afternoon with his family and the Stanley Cup in the village of Niantic, Conn. The Cup was on display while Sharp's children, Madelyn and Sadie, enjoyed a slushie.

Sharp, 33, had 239 goals and 272 assists in 679 games with the Blackhawks. He scored 16 goals and 43 points in 68 regular-season games last season, and five goals and 15 points in 23 Stanley Cup Playoff games to help Chicago win the Cup for the third time in six seasons.

Sharp was traded to the Dallas Stars on July 11 for defenseman Trevor Daley and forward Ryan Garbutt.
