Chicago Blackhawks forward Andrew Desjardins spent his morning Monday with the Stanley Cup with his family before letting fans in his hometown of Lively, Ontario, see it.

Desjardins, 28, who recently signed a two-year contract with the Blackhawks, took the Cup to a playground followed by the Tom Davies Arena in Lively, where fans took photos and got his autograph. There was also a parade with the Cup in Sudbury.

Prior to the parade, Desjardins and the Cup posed for a picture with his wife and son, Ames.

Desjardins was traded to Chicago on March 2 and became a staple on the fourth line with Marcus Kruger and Andrew Shaw during the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
