Tampa Bay Lightning center Tyler Johnson will not play in the 2015 Honda NHL All-Star Game on Sunday at Nationwide Arena in Columbus (5 p.m. ET; NBCSN, CBC, TVA Sports) because of a lower-body injury.
Johnson was injured during a Jan. 12 game against the Philadelphia Flyers but played in the Lightning's final three games before the All-Star break. He was drafted by Team Toews on Friday but was unable to participate in the Gatorade NHL Skills Relay as a mini net passer on Saturday.
Johnson's 48 points are first on the Lightning and eighth in the League, with his 31 assists placing seventh.
