Hall of Fame goalie Hasek to appear on NHL Live

Dominik Hasek will have his number retired by the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday prior to their game against the Detroit Red Wings, but first the Hall of Fame goaltender will appear on NHL Live with Steve Mears and E.J. Hradek, which airs at 5 p.m. ET on NHL Network. Hasek is set to call the show at 5:15 p.m.

There are nine other games on the schedule Tuesday, including a key Metropolitan Division showdown between the rival New York Rangers and New York Islanders. We'll go out to Madison Square Garden and welcome in NHL.com senior writer Dan Rosen via Arena Cam at 6:30 p.m. to get a preview of this matchup.
