When I was really young, I played in a summer tournament with the Junior Bruins right outside of Montreal. I remember little parts of it. I was probably 10 years old, so this is the first time being back.

It's been awesome so far. It's a crazy city. It's really fun. There are a lot of people walking around and a lot of stores everywhere. It's really up-tempo and it's great being here.

I was a little nervous coming up here around this time of year. I thought it was going to be cold, but it hasn't been too bad, so that's nice.

And it's awesome playing hockey in this building. It's nice being able to be downtown playing in Bell Centre. You feel like a pro, almost. It's really cool.

Saturday, we got dressed here and hopped on the bus in our equipment and went over to the Canadiens' practice facility.

We ran some drills over there and we watched some video to prepare for Germany. It was great. We're really thankful that the Canadiens let us use their facility. It's been awesome for us.

After that, I basically just relaxed a little bit. We haven't been able to go out too much. Maybe Monday night we'll go out for dinner with the guys.

Obviously we didn't get as many points as we wanted to against Finland, but we still got a win. That's all that matters, so we carried that confidence into Sunday.

We kind of had a rough start a little bit, toward the second half of the first period, but we got it together and ended up coming out on top.

It's really good to see the chemistry starting to click together a little bit, especially up front. We scored six goals Sunday night, which is good. I think our team is really starting to click.

We sort of take it game by game. Starting now, we're going to focus on playing the Slovaks on Monday. Every game is going to be important.
