At 4:40 of the first period in the Calgary Flames/Vancouver Canucks game, the referee initiated a video review after a Flames player shot the puck into his own net while a Canucks penalty was on delay. The Situation Room informed the referee that this is not a reviewable play and that his call on the ice stands. However, the Situation Room supported the on-ice call that the puck entered the net in a legal fashion. Good goal Vancouver and minor penalty to Vancouver.
