Fantasy Spin: Blue Jackets forward Jenner can help

The Columbus Blue Jackets have won six straight games to get back in the conversation for a berth in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. They also have a few players who could help your fantasy team.

Forward Boone Jenner (8 percent owned in Yahoo leagues) continued his hot streak. He scored on a penalty shot in a 4-3 shootout win against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday. It was his sixth goal this season, and fifth in his past six games.

Jenner has six points in his past six games, half of his season total. He played 21:29 on Saturday, including 5:34 on the power play and 1:47 shorthanded.

Columbus defenseman David Savard (1 percent owned) had two assists, four penalty minutes and a season-high eight hits. His 26:27 of ice time trailed only defenseman Jack Johnson (29:17).

-- Reunited with Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn on the Dallas Stars' top line, Jason Spezza had two points in a 4-3 win against the New Jersey Devils. Spezza assisted on Seguin's first-period goal and scored less than three minutes later. He had three points in his prior six games. Spezza was a plus-1 and won 13 of 18 faceoffs.

-- Penguins defenseman Kris Letang had the game-tying goal, a shorthanded goal and three hits in Pittsburgh's loss to Columbus. He has three goals in his past two games and appears to be picking up where he left off prior to his injury, when Letang had 18 points (four goals) in 22 games.

Pittsburgh forward Rob Klinkhammer (less than 1 percent) had an assist and five hits. He has points in consecutive games, and if you need hits, he has five hits in each of his past two games.

-- Buffalo Sabres forward Cody Hodgson (7 percent) returned to the lineup one game after he was a healthy scratch and scored in a 4-3 overtime win against the Florida Panthers. He played all but two seconds of his 12:43 at even strength on a line with Chris Stewart and Patrick Kaleta. It was Hodgson's second goal in 29 games this season.
