Wild's Parise gives back through charitable endeavors

Minnesota Wild forward Zach Parise joined NHL Live to discuss his contributions to Defending The Blue Line, an Minnesota-based organization that ensures children of military members are affording every opportunity to participate in the game of hockey. Defending The Blue Line provides free equipment for military kids, hockey camps, special events, and financial assistance for registration fees and other costs associated with hockey.

"It's a really cool thing," Parise said. "This winter a few of us went out and skated with them outdoors up in Blaine, Minnesota. It's a really neat organization and, I guess, a really small thing that we can do just to show our appreciation for what they've been doing for us."
