DALLAS -- Detroit Red Wings center Pavel Datsyuk sat out the game Saturday against the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center with a lower-body injury.

Datsyuk, second on Detroit with 32 points (15 goals), participated in morning skate on Saturday but called himself questionable for the game afterward. He did not practice on Friday in what was called a "maintenance day" by Red Wings coach Mike Babcock.

With Datsyuk out, Luke Glendening, who has been centering the Red Wings' fourth line is the likely candidate to move up. Right wing Mikael Samuelsson, who hasn't played since Dec. 17 against the Anaheim Ducks, returns and will skate on Detroit's fourth line.
