New York Rangers coach Alain Vigneault joined NHL Live to discuss the recent success of his team following a slow start to the season. Vigneault believes a big reason behind the Rangers' improved performance is the play of forward Chris Kreider since his recall from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.

"He's one of our most important players at this time," Vigneault said. "He's generating a lot of scoring chances. He's creating a lot of room with his speed and his size for his linemates. Ever since he's come back from Hartford ... he's been one of our top-six forwards and is helping us win a lot of hockey games."
