NHL Live: McGuire breaks down Rangers-Capitals

It's Wednesday Night Rivalry on NBCSN as the New York Rangers and Washington Capitals square off, and NHL Live will preview this Metropolitan Division matchup at 5 p.m. Eastern on NHL Network. We'll go to Verizon Center and talk to NBCSN's Pierre McGuire, who will be "Inside the Glass" for the game.

We'll also have Calgary Flames right wing Lee Stempniak joining us for a preview of their game against the Anaheim Ducks. The Flames are one of three teams remaining without a regulation loss, but have amazingly lost 16 straight games in Anaheim. Their last regular-season win at Honda Center was January 19, 2004. The Flames begin a tough five-game road trip against the three California teams, Phoenix, and Dallas.

Plus, Edmonton Oilers captain Andrew Ference will stop by our studio for a conversation on playing in his hometown and his many interests outside of hockey.
