Nashville Predators forward Viktor Stalberg has been diagnosed with an AC sprain in his right shoulder and is expected to miss 3-4 weeks, the team announced Wednesday.

Stalberg was injured Tuesday night in the first period of Nashville's preseason game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Predators signed Stalberg to a four-year, $12 million contract during the summer. He won the Stanley Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks last season, scoring 23 points on nine goals and 14 assists in 47 regular season games. He also had three assists in 19 games in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
