Carter Seabrook waited his whole life -- 14 days -- for his first visit with the Stanley Cup.

Carter's dad, Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Brent Seabrook, spent his day with the trophy Friday, and Carter, born Aug. 16, was front and center in several pictures and videos.

Seabrook and his wife, Dayna, were in his hometown of Tsawwassen, British Columbia. The day started at the South Delta Recreation Centre, where Seabrook greeted fans and youth players, according to Globalnews.ca. They also met with Mayor Lois E. Jackson.

Seabrook then visited Cavalier Jewellers in the Gastown section of Vancouver, owned by his brother Keith, to pose for pictures at a private event.

Seabrook and the Cup later traveled to Kelowna.

Seabrook's son has the middle name Seven, the jersey number his father wears in Chicago.
