Bruins' Bergeron in lineup for Game 6

BOSTON -- Boston Bruins center Patrice Bergeron is in the lineup for Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final at TD Garden on Monday (NBC, CBC, RDS), delivering on the confidence of his coach, Claude Julien, who said Monday morning Bergeron would be able to play.

The Chicago Blackhawks lead the best-of-7 series, 3-2.

Bergeron, who has four goals in the series and 15 points in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, was taken to the hospital for observation during Game 5 at United Center in Chicago on Saturday with an undisclosed injury. He was released in time to fly back to Boston with the team but did not skate with them Monday morning.

However, not long after the morning skate, Julien said he was confident Bergeron would be in the lineup for Boston's must-win game. Jay Pandolfo and Jordan Caron skated in warm-ups on a just-in-case basis.

Based on warm-ups, Bergeron will start in his usual spot, centering the Bruins' second line with Jaromir Jagr on his right side and Brad Marchand on his left.

Rookie Carl Soderberg, who moved into Bergeron's spot between Jagr and Marchand in Game 5, will start as the fourth-line left wing on a line with Rich Peverley and Shawn Thornton.

The Bruins other two lines are the same as they have been with David Krejci centering Milan Lucic and Nathan Horton, and Chris Kelly in between Daniel Paille and Tyler Seguin.
