UNIONDALE, N.Y. -- Defenseman Brooks Orpik and forward James Neal are in the Pittsburgh Penguins' lineup Tuesday night for Game 4 of their Eastern Conference Quarterfinal series against the New York Islanders at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Orpik sustained a lower-body injury April 23 and had yet to play in this year's Stanley Cup Playoffs. He skated with Paul Martin, his usual partner, in pregame warm-ups.

Neal missed three weeks in April before returning to score three goals in the team's regular-season finale against the Carolina Hurricanes on April 27. But after 8:09 of ice time in Game 1 against New York, he sustained a lower-body injury and hadn't played since. He took his previous spot on a line with Evgeni Malkin and Jarome Iginla.

Two rookies, defenseman Simon Despres and forward Beau Bennett, sat out. Despres played just over six minutes in Game 3 after replacing Daryl Engelland; Bennett dressed for each of the first three games and had the first goal in Pittsburgh's 5-0 victory in Game 1.

Orpik and Neal skated in full gear at Monday's practice and Tuesday's morning skate.

The Penguins won 5-4 in overtime on Sunday to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.
