Gryba glad to be making return to lineup

OTTAWA -- Ottawa Senators defenseman Eric Gryba returned to the lineup for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals on Tuesday against the Montreal Canadiens (CNBC, CBC, RDS).

Gryba was suspended two games after his Game 1 hit on Canadiens forward Lars Eller. Andre Benoit and Patrick Wiercioch have played in his absence, but Wiercioch was injured in Game 3, sustaining a lower-body injury, and is not available for Tuesday.

"It's going to be exciting to get back in and get an opportunity to play," Gryba said. "But I've got to keep my head on my shoulders and keep cool. Tensions are probably going to be running high, so if I let it get out of control, that'll hurt our team. It won't help it."

Teammate Zack Smith was asked if he thought Gryba would serve as a distraction for the Canadiens.

"If the Habs want to worry about Gryba and trying to get payback [for the hit on Eller], that will only work to our advantage," Smith said.

Coach Paul MacLean said there would be no other changes to the squad for Game 4. Here's how the lineup might look for Tuesday (click here for the potential Canadiens lineup):

Cory Conacher - Kyle Turris - Daniel Alfredsson
