New York Rangers captain Ryan Callahan joined his teammates on the ice for Monday's practice, wearing a yellow, non-contact jersey.
Callahan suffered a subluxation (partial dislocation) of his left shoulder Jan. 29 during a fight with the Philadelphia Flyers' Maxime Talbot.
The initial diagnosis was for Callahan to miss 10-14 days.
"It definitely could have been a lot worse than it was," Callahan said last Thursday when he learned of the diagnosis.
