Joe Sakic - Enshrined in 2012
One of the most consistent performers in NHL history, Sakic embodied everything a great NHL leader should be. As captain of the Quebec Nordiques/Colorado Avalanche franchise for 17 seasons, Sakic won two Stanley Cups, a Conn Smythe in 1996 and a Hart Trophy in 2001. His powerful wrist shot and creativity helped him score 625 goals and 1,641 points over 20 seasons. (Getty Images)
