• In 2014-15, Lauzon paced Huskies blueliners with 15 goals – only two fewer than the top defensive goal-scorers in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. His plus-12 rating was the third-highest on the team.

• Lauzon played the 2012-13 season with Nicolas Roy (No. 45 NA Skater) on the Amos Forestiers Midget AAA team before being selected in the second round (20th overall) by the Huskies in the 2013 QMJHL Entry Draft.

• His brother, Zachary, played 11 games with the Huskies in 2014-15 and is eligible for the 2017 NHL Draft.

• Lauzon grew up idolizing Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang, who played for his hometown Val-d’Or Foreurs in the QMJHL.
