  • First began playing organized hockey when he was four-years-old in Clarington after learning to skate on his backyard rink with his older brother Zach.
  • Winning the OMHA Championships with Clarington Toros in Minor Midget is his most memorable hockey moment – “we won it with the same core group of players who stuck together for a long time in minor hockey."
  • If he could invite any three people to dinner he would choose: Gordie Howe, Eric Clapton & Muhammad Ali – “these are all people who did great things and I look up to them for what they did."
  • The one thing he couldn’t live without is his acoustic guitar and if he could be in any one movie he would choose Anchorman.
