 • In 2013-14, Husso finished his rookie season with HIFK in Finland’s top professional league and ranked in the top ten in goals-against average (1.99) and save percentage (.923).

• A three-time medalist with Finland, he served as the backup on his country’s gold-medal winning team at the 2014 World Junior Championship, playing behind Juuse Saros (selected 99th overall by Nashville in 2013). He also backstopped his team to a silver medal at the 2012 Ivan Hlinka Memorial and won bronze at the 2013 Under-18 World Hockey Championship.

• Husso played 41 games for HIFK’s junior team in 2012-13, recording seven shutouts and finishing eighth in the league with a 2.63 goals-against average.
