• Nattinen, the top ranked Finnish prospect, played 30 games for the Espoo Junior Blues, recording 29 assists and 38 points; he also appeared in 14 games with the senior Blues team. He earned a spot on Finland’s World Junior Championship roster, playing all six games and totaling three points (2-1-3).

• His most memorable hockey moment was the European Youth Olympics, playing in the final against Russia – “the team spirit was unbelievable”.

• He doesn’t pattern his game after any player in particular, trying to use his own special strengths and skills, but does credit his family for having the most influence on his career for their support.

• Nattinen speaks three languages (Finnish, English and Swedish) and names the 2006 Olympic gold medal game between Sweden and Finland as his most memorable international moment watched because of the atmosphere during the game.
