• Beck, comes by his athletic ability honestly – his father, Stan, played minor league baseball for the Boston Red Sox and his uncle, Jim Douglas, played on Canada’s soccer team at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal.
• He pattern’s his game after Joe Thornton - “he is a good playmaker, scorer, and dominates down low” and he wears the number 19 because Steve Yzerman was his childhood hockey idol.

• If he could play in any band it would be Nickelback and his dream car would be a fully loaded Land Rover.
