• In his fourth season with the Oshawa Generals, Andreoff had 75 points (33-42--75) and a team leading plus-34 in 66 games in 2010-11 -- a significant improvement from the 48 points (15-33--48) he had in 2009-10.
• Coming from a hockey family, he got his start in the game at the age of four playing on his first team, the Pickering Panthers. He credits his family as well as former Oshawa General John Tavares as having a big impact on his hockey career.

You forget how good [Nieuwendyk] was. You hear the points and stuff and you almost forget until they kind of walk you through his career, and that was really cool for me. I might have felt it a little more than some of the other guys because he was one of my favorites growing up, but that was very cool and I'm honored to have been a part of it.
