  • An alternate captain in his second season with St. Michael's Buzzers Jr. A team, he will attend the University of Michigan in the fall of 2008.
  • Helped the Buzzers to team records for most wins (43), points (88) and fewest losses (4), winning the OPJHL regular-season title in 2007-08. 
  • Was selected to the 2007 CJAHL Top Prospects game, but was unable to participate.
  • His most memorable hockey moment was participating in the 2007 Canada Winter Games as a member of Team Ontario and winning gold as one of only two players to make the team from the OPJRA.
  • His superstitions include always being the last player to put on his helmet and leave the dressing room before a game as well as being the last player to leave the ice.
  • His father, Bruno, played Junior hockey for the Royal York Royals.
  • Began playing hockey at the age of seven after gaining interest in the game from watching videos of Bobby Orr.
  • His most embarrassing hockey moment was "going on to the ice in the final game of the Under-17 evaluation camp with skate guards on".
  • If he could be in one movie he would choose Happy Gilmore and the most embarrassing song on his iPod is "Let the music play" by Barry White.
